THT stands for Through Hole Technology. The plug-in component is installed on one side of the PCB, and the solderable device pins are soldered on the other side of the PCB through wave soldering (or the solder paste printed in the vias is inserted into the component through reflow soldering), so that it can be reliably connected with the PCB copper foil circuit and realize the circuit path. In most complex circuit designs such as circuits with high requirements for mechanical stress resistance, high-power devices, and multilayer circuit boards, through-hole (TH) or placement and plug-and-mount (SMT&TH) hybrid technology solutions are still widely used.
